07 Lincoln Town Car Gauges shutting off

Hey guys, sometimes when I first start the car the analog gauges on my dash cluster wont work and all my dummy lights will come on air ride. traction control, etc. The cluster will stay like this until I shut the car off and restart it again. do the dash clusters tend to go bad? any ideas?
