2009 Nissan Altima problem

I am working with a girl that has a 2009 Nissan Altima. It has developed the transmission problems every one on this forum has described. I just want to know how I can be proactive and prevent a problem before it develops.

    You say it has developed the problem everyone has described. Yet you then say how to be proactive and prevent a problem??? I dont understand?
