    You can probably get that repaired. We had something similar happen on one of our vehicles. 9 years later you still can't see the repair.

    luckily for you, the damage part is just a trim piece and not the whole dash. Shouldn't be that expensive.

    This is exactly the kind of thing you see in a new car but forget about once you've had a it a few years and done much greater damage.
