2000 Cougar check engine light flashing
2000 Cougar check engine light flashing, other than that the car runs fine, has 75k miles. I read in the manual that it could be engine misfiring? I do not have alot of money, if any to get it fixed, can anyone tell me what this could be?

Could be a number of things, you would have to get the codes read. Some places such as auto-zone will read the codes for free. Not sure on the cougar, but other vehicles a flashing CE light is an indication of something more serious then a solid light, I would not wait long to get it checked out, however you get it done.
