Can someone help me figure out whats wrong with my 2003 Chevy Tahoe?

I have 2003 chevy tahoe and i had problems with the tranfer case in the past and the chain fluids, etc..now its doing it again. and after that was fixed and the service 4wd light was on and the buttons to switch it in to 4wd would not light up. i replaced that fuze and the lights came on but the service 4wd light stayed on, on the dash board. and when i went to drive it, it sounded like it wanted to shift into 4wd when i was driving. Now when i drive it, it makes a rattling noise when i hit 15mph. I have no idea what this could be. any assistance would be nice.
