Infiniti I30 problem:

My 99 I30 has a mind of its own. When I turn on the head lights, I loose the lighting for the radio and auto temperature units. Has anyone else had this situation?

I'm fairly sure that what you describe is not an
electrical problem at all. I had a '99 I30, and now I have a '2000 I30t and both did same. I believe this feature dims the dash controls intentially as it assumes you are driving at night.
