Car Cover for Honda Civic

I bought a new 2014 Honda Civic EX-L in South California. I was thinking of buying car cover, would car cover protect the paint, protect car from sun heat, uv, dust, etc.?

Please share your recommendations/suggestions.

    Go with a multi-layer car cover made from a synthetic and breathable material, preferably a custom fit one. You'll find tons of online retailers selling universal car covers for under $100, but they won't last more than one season.
