    It's important to realize that the Macans that are available today do not represent the future volume seller of the lineup. As with the Cayenne that was also initially available only as "S" and "Turbo," the Macan will at some point be joined by a base model and that will be the sales volume leader meeting the needs of all those people that just want to drive their families around in a Porsche. That model will have a powertrain that will be less powerful and less refined than this one. It will be interesting to see how that model stands out from a Q5 or Tiguan.

    This sounds like the 3.0T in my S60 R-Design. Turbo lag is barely perceptible.
