2015 Chrysler 200C Car Sensors Activate in Garage.

My 2015 Chrysler 200C has sensors fore and aft for various safety features. When I pull into the garage it warns of a collision with lights and beeps. When I back out, it thinks the door posts are cross traffic, and gives a high pitched beep and then applies the brakes. There is nothing in the owners manual about this. There must be some way to turn off the sensors to use the garage.Can anyone help me with this ? Thanks.
