Spare tire storage - 2014 Malibu

I bought a 2014 Malibu 1LT in January. This trim line came standard with the tire inflation kit, but I negotiated a spare tire and jack into the deal. After several weeks of hounding the sales manager to get the tire and jack, my salesman finally got one from somewhere (I assume out of another Malibu). He put it in the storage well for me, but I'm 99% sure it is not mounted correctly. Can someone with a trim line that has the spare tire standard (2LT and above) send me a picture or description of their spare tire storage area so I can see how the tire and jack should be stored, please? Your help is greatly appreciated.
