How to install tow hitch wiring harness on a 2013 Nissan Murano?
I have been trying to install a trailer hitch wiring harness on a 2013 Nissan Murano. I have previously installed one of these harnesses on a 2009 Nissan Murano. Instructions say to remove the side panels on each side, locate the 4-pin connector, unplug it and plug in the new harness. I have removed the side panels but I cannot locate the 4-pin connector. Did Nissan change the tail light wiring between the 2009 and the 2013? Does the existing harness plug directly into the tail light? Nissan dealer says the harness will work on a 2013, but the installation instructions say "Application: Murano (2009-). So I am not sure if it fits a 2013. Please help locate the 4-pin connectors.
