Chevy TrailBlazer a/c problems

Have taken to 3 different places for repair with no help, A/C will blow cold untill outside air warms up then it will start blowing ambient air eventually it will start working again, have checked the freon charge and replaced the low pressure switch, everytime I take it somewhere they run out about 1/2 a tank and the problem will not surface. Is there any filters in the line that can be stopped up, the climate control seems to be working, the a/c light not flashing or showing any symtoms.

This problem has been going on for several years and finally stumbled on to a tip, tried last week and seems so far to have helped.
Those TSBs can really help sometimes. Hope it's fixed for good.
