    This car did not sell as the GTO did not sell as the G8 now GM is importing it again and calling it a SS.
    It's still an import I don't care what name you put on it

    I think the G8 actually sold pretty well, not Grand Prix levels or anything like that, but as a large domestic RWD sedan it did OK.

    I don't think GM expects the SS to sell in big numbers.

    Too bad the front badge isn't a model-specific one, like the Corvette's, instead of the Chevy bowtie. I think that would immensely help the looks of the front end, not to mention (re)cultivate the SS cachet. The bowtie just looks out of place here.

    Yes but how many Aussie imports do we actually get in the states, as opposed to Japanese? lol

    That depends on how you define import. Engineered and built in Australia, using major components from the US, with profits going to a corporation headquartered in Detroit. Would you rather buy a Camry because it's built in the US?

    Every review of the 2014 said it needed Magnetic Ride Control and manual trans. Now it has them. Now, about that face...

    Why would anyone want a manual transmission in a full size car?

    I like the automatic but really would like to see with all those goodies a homelink added.

    manual transmission FTW, if one is lucky enough to physically accomplish the task in a big car, is the best way to enjoy USA street/freeway driving, in my experience. With a disabled/recovered arm I drove automatics for a couple years, and on racetrack days with rented CTS-Vs, I found automatic-slushbox to be preferable/mandatory for best steering control. But for the street, manual-shift is so much better, unless one is just doing city/commute daily...
    Magnetic-ride on ths SS puts it over the top - what an awesome car, and room for large adults in back.
    If I didn't have an 05 GTO with stickshift I'd be ordering a '15 SS M6 in an hour when I drop off my cruze LS M6 for service/state-inspection/etc. :neutral_face:
