Sales of clean-diesel vehicles in the first half of 2014 have increased by 25 percent over last year, according to Edmunds data and the Diesel Technology Forum.

Clearly, there is a market for diesel powered cars and compact trucks out there. Diesel may not be for everyone, but there are people who need a diesel for something or just want a diesel. Car makers just need to pay more attention to what we, the people want.
