Can I get a synthetic blend oil change in my 2007 VW Jetta?

I have a 2007 VW Jetta Wolfsburg edition. It is a 5 cyl 2.5 liter engine with approx 60,000 miles. Is it ok to get a synthetic blend oil change instead of full synthetic? If so, how many miles can I go between changes?

VW drives me nuts that way. There's only a few holdouts, most car manufacturers put their owner's manuals online for free. How hard can it be to scan something? Sheesh.

I saw your post over in Edmunds Answers but I don't know what to tell you. Hopefully a Jetta owner will pop in here (or there) soon.
