What's wrong with my Lincoln LS please?
Hello I have a 2002 Ls Lincoln V8. Recently the traction control and abs light came on and would not go off I now figured that the right sensor on the right side is missing. They say it's drivable until my appointment. So I was driving and did a left turn and my car steering wheel locked up it was difficult to turn and slowly tried turning off. The car would not allow me to press the gas. I cut the car off and started it up again and it ran fine?? Any ideas ?? Thanks in advance

removing the ABS fuse should prevent future malfunction like that until the appointment. imho it's probably safer to drive without ABS/traction-control than risk such a malfunction as you describe. (do you remember how to pulse the brakes manually in a skid or when driving with 2 wheels on pavement 2 wheels on dirt/ice/snow?)
