2000 Suburban 2500 6.0 Cluster, 4WD and Tow/Haul
This all started a few months ago. Truck runs fine. Cluster started cycling, gauges would constantly cycle and message center would cycle messages from security, low fuel, battery, low coolant act..., shift indicator does not show but is lot up with all positions.
Now last week I went to pull a boat and the 4W LO would not engage. 2WHI and 4WHI work fine.
Also the tow/haul either will not work or when it does it resets when the cluster cycles.
Any ideas? I have discussed replacing the cluster but several shops don't think that's the issue. Specially the shops that rebuild the clusters. They say the cluster can not affect the 4WD and Tow/Haul.
I would appreciate any feedback available as I can not afford to throw money at the issue without some idea of what's happening.
