2008 Ford Expedition paint

Does anyone know why the 2008 Ford Expeditions and EL's are having problems with the paint on the tailgate bubbling and peeling off?

Good luck, there have been class action suits about it. Some people still under warranty can't get theirs fixed so at 6 years out it may be an uphill battle.

It isn't just 2008's. It is more like 2003-present. The root cause is poor surface preparation of the aluminum prior to painting.
