Detailing - 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Long-Term Road Test

Sometimes our long-term cars need a little TLC so I busted out the detailing products and cleaned up the exhaust on our 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Looking nice!
does it bother anyone else that the tips aren't aligned?
Also, the outboard tips seem to have gotten a lot dirtier.
i use the same stuff.
The outboard tips are always in play, the inboards only when the muffler bypass opens.
I agree with Travis. I like my chrome surfaces shiny. What I have observed are owners/drivers of German luxury brands not cleaning off brake dust from their, mostly, front rims. They go through automated car washes, pay for the premium wash, but leave their rims filthy.
All four tips may not be aligned in the same plane, but they ARE symmetrical -- i.e., the inner tips are aligned with each other, and the outer tips are aligned with each other. Thus, symmetry is maintained, and my eye will not start twitching. :P
(At least this is how it appears to me based only on the photos in this post.)
But why did you pick green? I hate green cars!
I notice it on other Corvettes and it drives me nuts. Not just because they are dirty, but because they are not equally dirty. I know why, with the multi-mode exhaust, but it makes it look even worse than if all 4 were filthy.
I remember doing that to the polished exhaust ends on my '87 LX 5.0. These days I do it on the chrome slash cut Harley muffler that serves as the rear muffler for my '72 MGB-GT
Sounds nice - got any pics? (You can park them over in Reader's Rides if you don't want to post 'em here). My sister had a new one back in the late 60s iirc and often comments on it (usually in a good way, until she mentions the radiator falling out...).
