I am trading in my 2012 Honda Accord LX with 20,525 miles for the new 2014 Honda Accord. The dealer told me the MSRP is $23,545 with $699 splash guards, $299 wheel locks, $399. trunk tray, $299. pin stripe, $399.door edge guards and $199 nitrogen. Total SP $25,839. Discount $5,501.48 Net SP $20,337.52. Lease pmt $269.00 I do not have the lease particulars other than I know the residual is at 57.They have not seen my 2012 Honda Accord yet but they told me MBV is $13,000 with payoff $14,247.62. Is this a good deal?

So you owe more on the 2012 than it is worth?

Seems like you are getting shafted... drive the 2012 until the wheels fall off, est 2035 - 2040, then get the 2041 model.
