2015 Porsche Macan S Road Test | Edmunds.com
The 2015 Porsche Macan promises to be a functional crossover and a fun-to-drive Porsche. Is it either?

I wonder what this would've read like had you opted for PTV, air suspension, sport chrono pkg, and summer tires
Seems like a well executed performance oriented SUV that will be costly to own. Then again, isn't that what Porsche's all about?
Porsche, just make a proper sports wagon already ok? I'm not interested in a sports SUV/crossover
I imagine for starters it would've read "Holy %&@ the Macan is expensive, and this is the base model!"
This doesn't look like a Porsche. It looks like rebadged VW. German car manufactures are not the most creative group from a styling standpoint. Just make a small, and a large version of the same regurgitated blob. If a tiny niche appears, make a medium, massive, or tiny version of said blob. I semi-understand the need for Porsche to do this as a part of VAG. I wish they didn't have to though.
The Macan S has a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 and the Macan Turbo has a twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6. Both have V6 engines, but not the same engine.
The Edmunds.com editors need to make up their collective minds. 3 weeks ago, Ed Hellwig wrote a long-term blog entry titled "Back seats are tight" and said that the "...Porsche Macan S is good at many things. Transporting adults in the back seat is not one of them." Yet this article claims "Ingress is a little tricky thanks to the roof, but once inside, there's plenty of headroom for a 6-footer sitting behind a 6-footer, and legroom is more than acceptable."
I'm confused. Which is it?
