Sensor next to rearview mirror? 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe.

I bought 2014 Santa Fe GLS a couple of months ago.
I noticed that there's a small black box on the windshield next to the rear view mirror. What is it and what does it do? Is it some kind of sensor?
