Tailgate will not open, even when actuating the internal mechanism by hand.
Tailgate failed to open, yesterday. Looked up information on the internet and was told to access the internal mechanism through the top of the trim piece. I did so, this morning, and the hatch still will not open. I found the plastic piece, but there is no rod in it. I tried feeling around for the rod, to no avail. Please help me?
