Resetting TPMS? Nissan Rogue.

Got a 2014 Rogue yesterday and owner's manual is not best I have ever seen. Several references to what TPMS does, but can't find anything on how to change TP in it.
Currently set on 33 psi at factory and I prefer to run about 2 lbs. over that.
Anybody know how to change it? Called dealer, but on hold a long time so I gave up.

Why would you need to reset if just adding air? Unless there is something about Nissons where you have to.

I prefer to carry 2 lbs. more air in tires than manufacturers recommend. EX. Recommended TP is 33, but I prefer 35. Better MPG and longer tire wear. TPMS is set to 33, but I guess that might be OK if one tire lost down to alarm point.

  • Per Nissan Customer Service - contact dealer. Per dealer techs - can't be changed. Some cars will let you adjust it. Now I know.
