SMS Messaging Download Issue. Mazda6.

I could not get my SMS messages to download until I did the below:
Turn off or clear all other SMS messaging apps, chaton, Hangouts, etc...
If using Messages then delete messages with emoticons first, then try to download messages, if this does not work then reduce your messages to 15...do not count 15 messages at the list of messages screen, each message can have multiple messages inside it, i.e. conversations, which need to be removed also. I just removed all and now, GUARANTEED, your SMS download will work.
