It has, as many of us expected, not been a cakewalk. That being said, I had thought that the ownership experience would have been more... Apocalyptic. A big hurrah for dodging bankruptcy!
With the ABC all fixed up this will actually be a great used buy.
So $34,000 for vehicle purchase + $5,922.41 in repairs + who knows how much $$$ in 91 Octane= A LOT OF MONEY. Seriously.. Don't let your accounting department look too closely at the cost of ownership for this bad, bad boy.
Sorry team, I chickened out and bought a run of the mill 2009 Mustang GT with a clutch pedal and a glass roof. Except for the broken CD player, I'm thrilled.
The ABC is still a 60,000 mile ticking time bomb. We should also be waiting for the other coil pack to fail along with removing and replacing 24, count'em 24 spark plugs at 100,000 miles.
Just keep on fixing things as soon as they crop up! No reason. On a completely unrelated note, when are you selling this one again?
I'm guessing then that you guys did not comlete all the repairs that the dealership suggested, right? Because wasn't that bill alone something like $14,000?
