Let's face it, Americans don't want to buy a $100,000 American sports car.
They don't think it's worth it.
Hopefully the price cut will make the Viper SRT more competitive in the market place. It seems that the strategy of keeping the Viper as exclusive as possible did not pan out. The Viper SRT would also be a great addition to the long term fleet. While it hasn't quite generated the publicity that the C7 Stingray has, the current Viper SRT should get a long term test in order to help evaluate its impressive performance, drivability, comfort, strengths and areas for improvement.
