    I'm kinda surprised it didn't bug you along the way. Our pilot starts the Oil Reminders at 15% life left and everytime you start the car after that.

    Looking at the 7,500 mile service article makes me think it works the same way. I'm surprised nobody noticed it.

    I'm guessing Kia doesn't use an oil life monitoring system. It seems to be simply mileage based.

    Did you notice that there's also a triangle with an exclamation mark in the center display? You can always use the button on the steering wheel to toggle there and it will tell you what the problem is.
