    Got to love the Crossover Effect. Take the powertrain that makes the comparable midsize sedan relatively swift, stick it in a chubby wagon that weights several hundred pounds more, and watch the 0-60 time go up by at least a second and fuel economy drop. 9.3 seconds is quite a bit slower than I'd like, but the Altima with this engine is pretty gutsy.
