Issues with '99.5 VW Jetta

 Can someone give me an idea as to why the speedometer/odometer have stopped working and why the gas level gauge moves from half to low and back up again?

Also, The passenger side headlight and tail light are both out. I replaced the tail light, but its still not working.

I looked at the fuses and they all were good..
