This isn't the O.J. trial, and you aren't trying half-heartedly not to make that glove fit. Use your brain. Why would you put the backpack UNDER the cargo floor? That's for small(er), flatter, seldom-used items. You have a tonneau cover. Why wouldn't you put the cargo floor down and put your bag in in the "main" cargo area, the way normal people would do in real life? Are you deliberately trying to not make this car work for you?
You should also know that the seat-backs have two positions, besides flat, namely a medium position, with the seat-backs pitched forward. At first, this seems pointless, but in practice, it enables the "trunk" to accommodate rollerbags. Of course, not even to mention that folding the seats down flat, together with the adjustable cargo floor, makes for a relatively large, perfectly flat cargo area.
What part of small cars are supposed to be small do you not understand? Darex is spot on. Who really expects to put something that bulky in the underfloor location.
