You cannot upload photos directly from your computer into a message within a discussion. Your photo must reside elsewhere. Some have used free photo hosting sites (www.zing.com/, www.fototime.com, www.clubphoto.com) to load their photos into a private folder and then post them within a message.

Here's how:

To get this:

Use this coding, but replace the ( and ) with < and >:

(img src="http://a332.g.akamai.net/7/332/936/0001/www.edmunds.com/pictures/79774.jpg")

Or: (img src="Photo URL address")

To make your photo a link like this:

do this:

(a href="Page URL address")(img src="Photo URL address")(/a)

Brian M. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting of posting Gamera's photos for me. I wouldn't have had a clue without you (other than to say Go Spartans in all contests other than against a certain Badgeresque from Wisconsin).

You're welcome! Glad to do it!

And as for that Wisconsin team, all I can say is "Badgers?! Badgers?! We don't need no stinkin' Badgers!" :)

In some ways, I like the look of the vehicle without the roof rack. I also have the oak interior and captain's chairs. But is that a bottle of white wine in the driver's seatback? If so, nice touch and how kind you are to your passengers! Now all you need is a loaded picnic basket and you're set.

Nope, just an umbrella for another rainy day in Florida.

You also said: " I like the look of the vehicle without the roof rack."

Thanks. The CX comes without the cross bars, but all the rails are there to easily connect them. I like the way they look, so we just had them put on the day before yesterday. I'll probably post another pic as soon I get a chance to get another lake shot as good as the one above. :-)

I'm surprised nobody commented on the "upgrade cloth seats" in your CX. I remember way back when, our heated discussion over the cloth inserts with the Buick logo. That discussion, in fact, resulted in Buick (Jack Bowen) making leather an available option in the CX.

I think your photo demonstrates that they look just fine! Not nearly as offensive as they appeared in Buick's promotional material.

P.S. I too thought you had a bottle of wine in the seat back...although I think a Merlot would better match your colour sceme.

Want to hear something funny? We actually had no idea the fabric design, on the cloth inserts, was the Buick logo when we purchased this vehicle. This is completely new brand for me, and my husband doesn't pay attention to stuff like that. We just thought it was attactive; we've also gotten lots of compliments on their appearance. :-)

The opal blue looks really nice! I actually tried to persuade my wife to consider it (please don't read through my colour history), but she was stuck on white.

I think the opal with greymist lower looks really high class.

Well, finally got the digital camera working...

Here are the photos of the wood dash we put into our brand new RDV. We love the look of the wood dash. I was skeptical of the "synthetic" look, but it's beautiful. We still haven't put all 24 pieces in, but I am happy with the results so far. Let me know what everyone thinks!

Beautiful RDV! I personally LOVE the way the black RDV's look. But alas, I live on a dirt road, so in reality my black RDV would not have looked so pretty. I ended up buying pewter, my second choice.

I appreciate the compliments. This is my first black car, so it remains to be seen if I hate myself for buying it. It looks awesome (in my humble opinion) when it's clean, but I do imagine it'll show the dirt and dust more quickly than other colors.

A question for the other owners here:

Are you waxing your Rondy at all? If so how often? Do you use a stand alone wax product or one of those washing solutions with the wax compound built in? I thought I heard that you really don't need to wax a new car for a year or two.

I made the mistake of using a hard bristle brush on mine the first time I took it to a power wash place and it has some swirl marks that are visible in bright direct sun. I'm hoping that a wax might hide them.

That's one nice looking Buick. What color is that?
  • netnerdnetnerd Member Posts: 118
That's a good looking Rondezvous. My neighbors have one with that color scheme and I've really come to like it a lot. It looks great in the sun.

At this link you can find my 03WhiteCXL with Running boards, chrome Buick grill painted white to match the cars color($3), a Home Depot wall edging for a rear step pad ($5), Stainless steel exhaust tip ($16), tinted windows on 2 front doors. ( see modification section for more info).
I like the running boards for several reasons including it makes the car look lower(ed).

    Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to add 3rd row seats to a 2003 Rendezvous that did not originally come with 3rd row seats? Thanks.
