instrument panel illumination for 96 Jetta

My 96 Jetta's instrument panel won't light. The manual doesn't list a fuse for this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try www.vwvortex.com...they have a forum on your particular year Jetta.

Hope it's not a bulb. May just be the switch.
