I agree, If you wash car regularly, that's all you need. If you want to put a coat of wax on, even better. I've heard too many people tell me their wheels pitted after cleaning them with an alloy wheel cleaner. Not worth it.
I use Eagle One A2Z every time I wash my car. It works great but like with all wheel cleaners, you need to be careful.
Many enthusiasts use P21S which is preferred by a number of European car mfr's. Also I've heard good things about Griot's Garage wheel cleaner but have no personal experience with it.

I haven't had much luck with special wheel cleaners.
Cleaner will not be needed
