If you know how to reset the service light for a 2000 Honday Odysey Van, please tell me.

  • Is it the oil change light (usually red) or service engine light (usually amber)?
If it is the amber one, there is a problem and you will need to have the trouble codes pulled to retreive the information that will help guide you to the problem.

Page 64 in the owner's manual tell you how to reset the light. Basically,
    (1) turn off the engine.
(2)Press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON (II).
(3)Hold the button for about 10 second, until the indicator resets.

That should take care of it.

Thanks "self_mechanic." I will reset the service light not check engine light tonight.
PS. These are the same instruction for resetting new 2001 Volvo S60 cars.
