Help! My ABS light has been on for quite sometime now. I understand this probably has something to do with the sensor. The problem is I am trying to sell the car and I am finding this is hurting the value.

Can anybody please tell me what is fair amount to deduct for this. I know it's not that cheap.

Also, what are your thoughts on disconnecting the light bulb for this? I would feel very guilty but money does talk. Is this easy to do?

Any input would help! Thank you.

I am sad to say this in not cheap. This just happened to my 93 Accord EX and this means your ABS computer has failed. This is very rare but it does happen. I was quoted $1600 at the dealer for the purchase and installation of a new computer. I took it somewhere else and they got a used computer for $175 which solved the problem.
