    I had this happen to me three times last week on my 2011 Ford Explorer! I took it to the dealer for repair on Monday. I got my car back Tuesday, and they charged me $1,800 to repair it!! I fought it and got the part covered, but a $1,225 discount it not enough! Why isn't the 2011 Explorer recalled for the same problem?

    This just happened to our Fusion. (Steering gear) dropped out, but because the car was built in September and not 'the affected' months we have to pay $2300 out of pocket for something that should be covered. Not cool Ford, big safety issue that obviously has not been fixed. Plus the part is on back order for months
