    I must say this article is even more begrudgingly written than the May 2012, article in the New York Times. Well, at least it is honest. But it is written lacking passion. Love for the AE86 is like the love of a good-hearted, beautiful (to one's eye), faithful woman. You cannot truly appreciate her unless you've been at her side for a considerable length of time after seeing what else is out there "on the market". I am such a person. I bought mine in May 1985, after reading a very favorable article in the Miami Herald, and test driving one. See it, and get to know it at
