    Dealer trades do work but are a last option to sell. A lot goes into the process and yes both dealers usually are in a win-win situation. Yes the article is correct by stating you must negotiate everything before they do the trade because it is your vehicle. Make sure you confirm every option on the vehicle being traded for down to interior color. Most trades go smoothly and the person picking up the vehicle will inspect it for any problems and will get everything from books to extra keys.
