    Curious to know what criteria folks use to decide whether to repair or trade up.

    I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima SE with 207,000 miles it has been a good car. during the fall of 2010 put a rebuilt starter in. I'm faced with normal things that need to be done 4 new tires new brakes & rotors plus allignment. I can get car paintd @ voctech school for cost of supplies car would look brand new again. Any thoughts on what to do
