    I love the way VW does them too but usually they are recessed into a plastic pocket of sorts. Those look almost like they come out to the edge of the cushion. I wonder if someone would get stabbed in the [non-permissible content removed] with those if the vehicle is rear-ended?

    Better than in my wife's Fusion, where the latches are hidden.
