We bought a 2011 Rav4. The average gas mileage stinks... We just drove over 700 highway miles, no stop and go traffic. The average was 23 mpg. I expected closer to the 28 mpg that was posted on the new car info paper. Why would this happen? Any comments????

On May 5 2011 I bought a 2006 Used Ford Mustang from Future Ford of Sacramento on Madison Ave. They sold it to me with illegal catallitic Converters on that car for California. I told them about it and they would not fix the problem until I told them I would go to the carb state complaint place with the problem. They finally agreed to change them given what could take place for them. I have no paper work from them on this situation. I am sure they did not want any.

From the start, they were hard to deal with. After they had my money for the deal, they were "jerks", to deal with. I paid too much for the car and they knew it. I was treated so badly by them that I am telling all my friends and family what a rotten deal I got from them. I for one will never ever go there again for anything. I am sure Ford Motor Company will not condone that type dealings. Maybe they will eventually read this note, I hope. James Reynolds

We bought a 2013 Ford Escape in June. Took it on vacation the end of July to Maine and it overheated. We had to leave the vehicle there because the part was not available in the USA, it had to come from Germany. They said the part would be here Sept. 3 (Labor Day-Closed). That week the part came in and Ford sent the wrong part. Now it is going to be another month and Ford Customer Relations is not cooperating with us to replace the vehicle and all the extra expense we incurred on the extra days we had to stay in Maine. Not to mention we are paying for a lease we don't have! We are very disappointed Ford has not come through for us. Now it is going on to Lemon Law and whatever it takes to get what we deserve.

Battery leaked down the frame and was eating the 2 trany cooler aluminum lines. Autonation Chevrolet Superstition Springs in Mesa, Az put a new battery and 2 new trany cooler lines on, But after the 4th attempt can not get all of the acid cleaned up. Engine cradle still has no paint in spots and acid still showing on spots. After a day of rain. Went out to the car the next day and when I opened up the drivers door there was a VERY bad odor. Almost wanted to throw up. After looking all over the car found 2" of water were the spare tire is and all of the carpet wet in the trunk. Took it to Autonation Chevrolet Superstition Springs in Mesa, Az. They had it for 2 weeks and they determined I did not have the trunk closed all the way. This trunk will not stay down. What I mean is the spring is so good it's ether closed all the way or open all the way. After that and some research I found GM has put out a #PI1133 trunk water leak. The seal around the rear tail light leaks water into the trunk. So I took it back to the dealer and had to tell them it was not me leaving the trunk opened.

I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner that I bought for cash in Texas and currently still own it . While I always assumed with all the hype about Toyota's quality and their well respected trucks , especially the Tacoma .. That changed nearly 3 years ago when my truck @ 67k miles began to clunk and make noise , since I was living in Los Cabos area of Mexico taking care of my sick father .
I chose a very well respected mechanic who specialized in suspensions and brakes ,, after he drove it for 10 minutes he climbed under the Tacoma and showed me the cracks were in the leaf springs both sides .. He also said they look too small for the truck which he was right .
I phoned the nearly useless "Toyota Cares" minions and they basically told me "your vehicle is out of warranty and it is not their problem" Nice .
The truck was nearly undrivable with the cracked ,flopping suspension so I did some shopping on Summit Racing and ordered some Skyjackers .
Remember ,while the forums were full of breaking ,malfunctioning leaf springs and rusty frames -Toyota hid behind their corporate shield and after I fixed my truck total with international shipping just over $700 installed .. ( months later I get a recall letter from the losers at Toyota finally admitting they used inferior parts and there was a sever problem ... Fast forward to today the Toyota Cares (sic) people still give me the run around and refuse to reimburse me . They are making many of us do an endless paper trail and more excuses than solutions . Toyota has lost my family's business and we have bought Toyota's since 1969 ... Sorry Toyota but your customer service is truly an abomination as well as your corrupt business practices .. Go Honda !!

Get off Edmunds!! They are unreliable and slow!!! There's infinitely more ads, downright breaking the website. I've been sitting here for 5 minutes waiting for a review for my car to load because all the ads have bogged the site down. And when I try to turn adblock on so I can actually visit the pages, I'm blocked by a popup. I've been using kbb more recently just because the edmunds site is broken. This should be fixed, because edmunds.com USED my favorite source to use
