From the start, they were hard to deal with. After they had my money for the deal, they were "jerks", to deal with. I paid too much for the car and they knew it. I was treated so badly by them that I am telling all my friends and family what a rotten deal I got from them. I for one will never ever go there again for anything. I am sure Ford Motor Company will not condone that type dealings. Maybe they will eventually read this note, I hope. James Reynolds
Battery leaked down the frame and was eating the 2 trany cooler aluminum lines. Autonation Chevrolet Superstition Springs in Mesa, Az put a new battery and 2 new trany cooler lines on, But after the 4th attempt can not get all of the acid cleaned up. Engine cradle still has no paint in spots and acid still showing on spots. After a day of rain. Went out to the car the next day and when I opened up the drivers door there was a VERY bad odor. Almost wanted to throw up. After looking all over the car found 2" of water were the spare tire is and all of the carpet wet in the trunk. Took it to Autonation Chevrolet Superstition Springs in Mesa, Az. They had it for 2 weeks and they determined I did not have the trunk closed all the way. This trunk will not stay down. What I mean is the spring is so good it's ether closed all the way or open all the way. After that and some research I found GM has put out a #PI1133 trunk water leak. The seal around the rear tail light leaks water into the trunk. So I took it back to the dealer and had to tell them it was not me leaving the trunk opened.

I chose a very well respected mechanic who specialized in suspensions and brakes ,, after he drove it for 10 minutes he climbed under the Tacoma and showed me the cracks were in the leaf springs both sides .. He also said they look too small for the truck which he was right .
I phoned the nearly useless "Toyota Cares" minions and they basically told me "your vehicle is out of warranty and it is not their problem" Nice .
The truck was nearly undrivable with the cracked ,flopping suspension so I did some shopping on Summit Racing and ordered some Skyjackers .
Remember ,while the forums were full of breaking ,malfunctioning leaf springs and rusty frames -Toyota hid behind their corporate shield and after I fixed my truck total with international shipping just over $700 installed .. ( months later I get a recall letter from the losers at Toyota finally admitting they used inferior parts and there was a sever problem ... Fast forward to today the Toyota Cares (sic) people still give me the run around and refuse to reimburse me . They are making many of us do an endless paper trail and more excuses than solutions . Toyota has lost my family's business and we have bought Toyota's since 1969 ... Sorry Toyota but your customer service is truly an abomination as well as your corrupt business practices .. Go Honda !!
