    I'm probably the minority, but I like the looks of all cars better in fixed roof form. As far as convertibles go, the 911 is one of the more pleasant looking ones, but still not has handsome as the coupe.

    @330i, I agree that the 911 looks way better in coupe form, and looks are an important aspect of the 911 charm.

    it never dawned on me to have the top down and windows up. I always figured wide-open to the wind. but if it reduces the buffeting, you are enjoying what amounts to be a massive sunroof. sounds good. How is the noise level with and without this topless technique?
