    Realizing this article is quite dated now... It does seem the Sonata GLS to the Optima LX would have been a much closer comparison than to the EX. Or at least a simliarly equipped Sonata. For example, adding the 17in tires could have made a difference. Comparing with wider gaps like these just seems a little ... sloppy. If it were me just getting my hands on each of the cars for testing, I could understand. From Edmunds, I just expect a little more.
