Acceleration numbers are a dead heat with the 5.0 F-150 that Edmunds tested a while back. But that F-150 was 4WD and weighed another 400 lbs so not apples to apples. But even assuming another 0.5-0.7 seconds to the transfer case it doesn't have that's still decent.
The 55 mph, "slow lifeless steering", "doesn't like to change direction" slalom is disappointing. It's the lightest, lowest truck in the segment, it's running on wide street tires, it should be more nimble than a 6000 lb F-150 or Tundra and it isn't.
