24 is what my wife averages in her 2006 330i.

the n52 was the pinnacle of the NA inline bmw 6; probably why we will run our car into the ground.

you guys had a 06 330i long-term vehicle. can you look up what the average lifetime fuel mileage was? i don't see it listed anymore; searched, posts gone.

i've driven an f30 loaner, 328i, it was wicked fast i'll admit.

Just ran a quick comparison between this car and a Subaru Impreza. You had the Impreza in the LT fleet and I found it pretty disappointing from a fuel economy standpoint. It missed it's EPA numbers by a lot. The BMW is getting much closer to it's (lower) EPA numbers and very close to the actual numbers you achieved with the Subaru. I figured the cars were similarly matched. Turns out I was off base. The BMW is more than a foot longer. It's a lot heavier. It is much more powerful. And we know it's more enjoyable to drive. It's also double the price. But still, why can't Subaru deliver better efficiency. I always thought that AWD was what was holding them back but BMW has figured it out. Why can't Subaru?

I think it would be cool if Edmunds had a Fuelly profile.
