    Strange that a piece of plastic would be so difficult to get together and mail out, yet they have the logistics to assemble full vehicles? Is the parts department at Tesla a black hole (things go in, they never come out again and you have no idea what's going on) like it is at other OEMs?

    That thing had better impress when it's mounted on the wall. It never should have taken so long.

    I have to ask given Tesla's habit of not having many parts available in a timely manner... Do they only have 5 or 6 craftsmen locked away in a basement? Each man hand forging each metal piece and at the same time carving out new molds for every single plastic part cast?
