    And that's for 87. I just paid $4.01 for 93...in New York State, not one of the cheaper places to buy gas. Man, do they get hosed in CA.

    Diesel seems to hold tighter to a given price while gas fluctuates all over the place. For about eight months of the past year here diesel was about the price of 89 octane gas. There was a big dip in gasoline prices for about four months, and now they're right back up with diesel, which stayed the same here.

    $3.809/gal for premium in Racine WI last Friday. 99 cents cheaper per gallon, for 93 vs your 91.
