    Yikes-

    You better make more than $100k for the majority of these vehicles. That leaves 70% of America out. Even the Flex nears $40k. At least the Fusion, Soul and Jetta offer some relief.

    i would replace the kia soul with the honda fit or mazda5 and i'm uncertain how i feel about the jetta sportwagen diesel when it first came out i was crazy about it but i realized that paying ~2 grand more was exciting only because it got rid of the boat anchor 5 cylinder with the new "golf wagen" coming next year with the new 1.8 turbo base engine and it's improved efficiency i would be more hesitant to drop that much into the initial purchase price for an even further delayed payoff. from the luxury perspective i guess i would have to take a closer look i'll take your word for it. the ford flex should probably not be on the list at all or at least not the number 2 spot.

    Maybe the CTS just isn't cool enough. None of the other moms care if you drive up in a Cadillac.
