Evolution is the word for GM's new 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2015 GMC Yukon, which thankfully don't grow much but do bear more powerful standard V8s.

Okay, so the styling on these is very cartoonish, and I already miss the old generation. Here's to hoping that it looks better in person. As for the buyer demographics, that's pretty intense that so many don't even have kids but have these large vehicles. I do realize that some may need the utility or option of sometimes fitting a small crowd in their vehicle though. Also, they have the right to buy anything they want with their money, but have no right (in my opinion) to ever complain about gas prices, ever. You brought that on yourself, if you're in that boat.

The interiors are huge improvements. But the squared-off rear roof line makes it very Expedition/Navigator-like. The outgoing models look better.

Why do they still have a column shift? It's 2015. There's probably a cassette deck hidden in the glove box.

Exterior styling is solid. Classic american design.

A MILF on my block drives a 2012 Tahoe, and has one child, but usually is by herself. Their really is no point to these anymore, but to each their own.

I've always loved Tahoe's / Suburban's and their siblings...I grew up in these vehicles. My parents had an 01, 04 and 07... But I think this these front ends look ridiculous!! The 07 was just beautiful... This I'm not so sure. However, the interior looks GREAT!

Best SUV's in the world! I'm glad GM stuck with a truck frame for their full-size SUV's. I have always loved the Tahoes, Suburbans and Yukons...

Why no pictures of the second row, third row and cargo space?

Very nice exterior and interior. Sad to see that they couldn't improve the cargo capacity but in fact shrunk from previous gen. Even the Traverse has more interior cargo space than this full sized redesign, sigh!! Wonder If the 3rd is optional or std equipment? If I'm buying, I'll skip the 3rd row for more cargo capacity. Can't wait to see this paired with the 8spd auto coming out...

One word"Ugly", this thing makes ugly looks beautiful, same as Chrysler new Cherokee.

The Tahoe is truly hideous in that cherry red. I see it has the latest GM "feature" the offset steering wheel. Insert barf emoticon here. Other than that the interior is a huge step up on previous GMs. Makes the interior my 01 Tahoe look painfully cheap. One thing I do not like is the sloping load floor with the seats folded. Too much given away for the third row IMHO.

^^^You're 01 has the offset steering wheel also.

They are pretty much dead for the most part. Yeah people still buy them, but nowhere near the rate at which they used to.

Always find it funny when people comment on others choice of vehicle and have no idea how said vehicle is used except for when their neighbor is coming and going from their home. For all you know, she could be hauling clients, running a carpool, moving products during the day while at work... Or just driving alone. End of the day, it's their choice and stats are for fantasy football nerds.

As for these serving no purpose, speak for yourself. These are great for those of us that live in the mountains. If I lived in the city, yeah, a crossover or sedan would be the vehicle of choice. These are becoming a niche vehicle and for those that will use it as intended, it's the only choice. My expedition has served 8 tough winters, growing family, soccer, football, and ski trips and needs replacing (175k miles). This is a very attractive option considering the fuel claims.

    What? No Quadrasteer???

Come on GM, bring back Quadrasteer! And if you don't bundle it in a $5,000 option package, the take rate will be significantly higher this time!

A big box, lacks style reminds me of a toy truck out of scale and over sized.

The long wait of the new design has arrived. And my expectations are exceeded on all levels.
This truck is awesome in every category and I cannot wait to test drive it then place an order.
While my 2008 is exceptional in my view, the new design has taken us to the next level that should be sustained for years to come.
    Nice job.
To those that question the relevance of full sized SUVs and PU trucks. Safety is never going out of style.
    These are exceptional trucks.
